28 September 1895 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Saturday. 28th September [1895]. Worked packing & labelling furniture that is to go down to the farm. After tea had a visit from my sister Connie & her girl Bee—& she sent Bee to sit in my bedroom & proceeded to tell me all her troubles about her scapegrace son Earnie—who has & is giving her much trouble. I went down to dine with Lady Gregory at Q. Anne’s Mansions to meet Sir Fred Burton & Miss Lyall—& then Augusta & I returned to Queen Anne St to sleep—my last night there. | |
