2 January 1896 — 3 Savile Row | |
Thursday. 2nd January [1896]. Wrote & type wrote– Dull weather. After lunch went for a walk down to Hans Place to call on Lady Lindsay. Saw her just as she was going out. For the first time Monty’s dog “Turk” accompanied me. Home to tea– Mrs Hills the school board mistress came here at 7.30 & Nela Du Cane joined her & they went to the theatre together. I dined quietly & afterwards type wrote till bed time. | |
