Saturday. 4th [January 1896]. Continued excitement abt the Transvaal. Wrote & type wrote. Monty came in to the library & we had a talk abt money & accounts. Nela & Issie came to lunch. I went out for an hour in the morng. Read & type wrote rest of the day. Had a visit from Mrs Somes & Fanny Layard. No one to tea. Type wrote in evening. | |
