15 April 1896 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 15th [April 1896]. Eda & I went to lunch with Css Pisani she having asked the Poet L. & his wife also—but they did not come as Mrs A. was indisposed. I took Eda to have a long walk in the Piazza—& then we came home to tea. Iduna & Belmondo dined with us & at 10 Eda went off to the station & set off for England to go straight thro’, without stopping to London. She was sorry to go & I to lose her. | |
