Monday. 20th [April 1896]. A pouring wet day & no going out at all. The young “sposi” were going out to Murano in the morng but had to give it up– Capt. & Mrs Helsham Jones & Mrs Hulton came to tea—the Jones are friends & neighbours of the Rates. | |
