16 June 1896 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 16th June [1896]. Painted fan in the morning & we went to lunch with Mr & Mrs Curtis at 1 to meet Sir Charles & Lady Evan Smith. Afterwards we went to the Piazza & did one or two commissions & then home, read aloud & worked. The weather was stormy & heavy. | |
