8 August 1896 — Villa Pisani, Vescovana | |
Saturday. 8th [August 1896]. Packed. The Css went out to the farms by herself. Sophy & I had lunch at 10.30 & the Css came home just in time to see us off to the train. We drove to S. Elena & went to Venice by 12.30 train. Reached there at 2. Went to Ca’ Capello & stayed till 6. Iduna Belmondo came to see me. We had tea at 5 & then Iduna took us to the station & we left at 6.30 for Belluno & got there at 10.30. Had tea & to bed. | |
