Sunday. 1st [November 1896]. I remained in bed till lunch & did not go out all day. My brother Arthur called abt 3 & persuaded me to go to Bere on Thursday next for a few days. Mrs Alexander Bagot called & stayed to tea with me. I dined alone & went early to bed. | |
