16 April 1897 — Bessborough, Fiddown, County Kilkenny | |
Friday. [16th April 1897]. Good Friday. Went to morning service at 11 walked there with Blanche & afterwards remained to hear the choir practise the Anthem which they are to sing on Sunday. Col. Stewart & his son Pat came to luncheon. We were having a grand band practice when Mrs Stewart came afterwards to see Blanche. Olwen plays 1st violin, Irène 2nd violin, Vere 1st violincello, Miles contra basso, Bertie flute. Blanche conductor & I on the piano. | |
