17 April 1897 — Bessborough, Fiddown, County Kilkenny | |
Saturday. 17th [April 1897]. I breakfasted in bed, washed my hair & came down late. All the children went out hunting under the care of a neighbour Mr Power. I saw them from the window start off. I finished painting the portrait of Lady Duncannon & her 2 children by Hofman. Blanche took me for a drive in the afternoon in the pony carriage. | |
