1 August 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Sunday. 1st August [1897]. Church in the morning. Arthur went fishing at Cobbs after tea. Nelly & I walked up to the keeper’s farm in Bere Wood with the dogs for exercise. Lady Margaret followed us up there & we walked back together. I went on to the field to fetch Arthur home– He had got no fish. | |
