6 August 1897 — Bere Cottage, Bere Regis, Dorset | |
Friday. 6th August [1897]. I woke with a headache & remained in bed till 1. Then went to the drawing room & lay on the sofa. Arthur arrived from Cardiff & Lord Norbury arrived also to stay. He is Lady Margaret Jenkins brother. I went with Nellie for a drive in the poney carriage before dinner. It was much cooler—almost cold. | |
