28 August 1897 — Salce, Belluno | |
Saturday. 28th [August 1897]. My luggage had arrived in the morning by 8 when Annie brought me my breakfast. Sat out in the garden with Carry in the morning. Lovely weather & the views round are heavenly. Mr Eden sketched. Lunch at 11.15. Sat out & read & worked. Wrote letters &c. Tea at 4. Drove with the Edens at 5 for a short distance & walked home thro’ the fields. Dined 7.30. Bed at 10. | |
