3 September 1897 — Salce, Belluno | |
Friday. 3rd September [1897]. Very hot– Painted—sat—&c. Drove with Carry to Belluno after tea. Just as we got there it began to rain– So Carry gave up paying the Prefettessa a visit as she had intended & we hurried back to Salce & got there just as a heavy shower came down. | |
