19 October 1897 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 19th [October 1897]. Nela & I left Venice by 9.50 train and reached Stanghella at 12. Countess Pisani sent to meet us & we reached there in time for her lunch. At 3 we went out for a drive with her to various farms & returned at 6. Dined at 7.30—& went early to bed. | |
