Friday. 5th [November 1897]. Typed in the morning. Nela ought to have met Mrs Eden & gone out on a bycicle ride with her & forgot about it—Carry came to ask what was the matter but forgave her for forgetting. Nela & I went out & walked up & down the Zattere for a short time. It was a lovely day. Mme Canevaro & Maria Cozzi came to tea—also Css Olga Mocenigo & Marchesa Idita Bentivoglio. We read aloud in the evening. | |
