6 November 1897 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 6th [November 1897]. Splendid weather– Nela went out with Mrs Eden to Mestre to bycicle. I went to the Eden garden & walked up & down the Sacca where Henry used to be so fond of walking. There is a lovely view there over to S. Clemente & one gets all the sunshine. Nela & Mrs Eden came back to tea soon after 5. In the evening Nela went to Countess Canevaro & I went early to bed. | |
