Wednesday. 1st December [1897]. Painted all the morning. Mrs Eden called just after lunch– Fine day. Nela & I went to the Eden’s garden & walked up & down the sacca walk 8 times which made a mile. Mme Le Mellier, Css Olga Mocenigo & Idita Bentivoglio came to tea. | |
