Saturday. 11th [December 1897]. Went out walking on Piazza after lunch. Messrs Richmond & Arkwright came to tea (& Mr Hulton). They took leave of us as they go on to Rome tomorrow. They were pleased to meet Mr Hulton as it chanced that Mr Hulton knew Mr Richmond’s family. | |
