28 January 1898 — En route to London | |
Friday. 28th January [1898]. We got to Milan abt 6.30. Got some breakfast & went on by a train at 7.30. There was a restaurant car & we got an excellent luncheon at 11.30– Reached Bale at 4.30. Had a basin of soup & left again at 5– Went by Strasbourg, Luxembourg, Brussels to Ostend wh we reached at 4 A.M. | |
