2 February 1898 — 3 Savile Row | |
Wednesday. 2nd February [1898]. I went up to Half Moon Street to see about Arthur who is still going on well—tho’ very ill. I went on on foot to see Mr Eden who is staying at 3 Grosvenor Crescent & I sat with him & then walked back home. I did not go out again. Had a visit from dear old Sir Fred Burton who was very kind & sympathetic & on leaving kissed my hand fervently. Nelly came back to dinner rather late. | |
