Sunday. 6th February [1898]. Rather headachy so I stayed in bed quite late. Nellie went off to Half Moon St by 11. I lunched alone. Rhuvon & Mildred his sister came to see me. I did not go out all day. Augustus Alderson came in at tea time & sat for about an hour. Bertha my ex-cook came & I had a long talk with her on household matters– Nellie came back to dinner at 8.
