7 February 1898 — 3 Savile Row
Monday. 7th [February 1898]. I walked up to Half Moon Street in the morning. Arthur had had rather a restless night. Came home by 12– Sophy Palmer came to lunch with me at 1—& left directly afterwards. I then walked up to Cav. Sqr & found Blanche just going out driving with Irène so I accompanied them. While they were at the Stores she sent me on to call on Lady Vivian & I found her at home. Then went back to the Stores & we all went to Rigal the dressmaker. Then I left Blanche & Irène & came home in a cab—& had tea & read quietly. Nelly came back from Half Moon St to dinner after 8 o’clock.
