Tuesday. 15th [February 1898]. I got a note from Blanche asking me to go to 17 Cav. Sqr to look over the Garry Hill work so I walked there at 12 & came home to lunch– Aline Lambton lunched with me & I walked with her to Grosvr St where I left her & went on to Half Moon Street to see how Arthur was. He could not see me so I returned home. I dined with Lady Vivian & there were only her son young Lord Vivian, her daughter Violet & my nephew Monty Eliot there. | |
