Sunday. 20th [February 1898]. I had rather a headache so I got up late & did not stir out all day. My sister Maria came to luncheon. Aug. Alderson came to tea & Edward Dun: called late. Bertha Roberts came to see me to tell me she thinks she has found a butler who will suit me—& he is to come to be inspected tomorrow morning. | |
