Thursday. 10th [March 1898]. I went to see Arthur directly after lunch & thence went for a walk paid some visits but found no one at home so merely left cards. Lady Gregory came to tea at 3—& stayed & corrected typewritten copies of Henry’s letters to Lord Lytton with me—so she dined also & we finished them in the evening & she went home abt 10.30 & I to bed. | |
