13 March 1898 — 3 Savile Row
Sunday. 13th [March 1898]. Nelly was not down to breakfast. I went to the 9.30 service at the German Chapel of Marlborough House & was home by 11. Trecia & Gwenth Ponsonby came to see me before lunch. Onie came to tea & then I walked to Half Moon Street to see Arthur. I only was with him a few minutes & thought him looking very ill. Mr Wyld was calling on Nelly & he escorted me part of the way to Cav. Sqr when I left. I got to Cav Sqr abt 7 & Blanche & Gwenth sang hymns to me till dinner. Edward was better but still suffering from gout but was better–
