Sunday. 20th [March 1898]. Kate & I went to the 12 o’cl service at the Chapel Royal St James’ & heard Bp Wakefield preach. The Bp of London (Creighton) & his wife was there & they invited Kate to lunch with them at London House & she went there. I returned home to lunch & Gus Alderson lunched with me. When Kate returned home they went out together. I remained at home. She & I dined at Cav. Sqr with the Duncannons. | |
