11 April 1898 — 3 Savile Row | |
Monday. 11th [April 1898]. Easter Monday. Bank Holiday. The town was very empty only omnibus & carts & vehicles with parties from the country. I remained in bed for breakfast. Went to see Arthur after lunch & Nelly & I took a walk together. We went to Belgrave & I called on Lady Cromer who has just arrived from Egypt & is staying with Arthur’s friend Mr Wormwald. Nellie went on to pay a visit near & we met & walked home together she going back to ½ Moon St & I to Savile Row– | |
