20 April 1898 — 3 Savile Row | |
Wednesday. 20th [April 1898]. I drove in Blanche’s carriage with Maria. It was bitterly cold E. Wind & I came in at 5 to tea quite chilled. Elaine was at tea also—but she dined out & Nelly & I were alone & went early to bed. Elaine sleeps in my dressing room—but she came & sat on my bed & talked till quite late. | |
