Tuesday. 10th May [1898]. Arthur was wheeled into the drawing room abt 10 & breakfasted there. He had had a good night & was pretty bright. I sat with him most of the day & was in & out. Nellie arranged the dining room for me & made it look comfortable as a sitting room. We had tea in the drawing room at 4.30 Nelly & I in order to try & get Arthur to have his coffee there & Mr Bond his Dr joined us—& then gave Arthur his bath & then he returned to the drawing room for his dinner but went early to bed. | |
