19 November 1898 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 19th [November 1898]. Augusta’s cold so bad she had to remain in bed all day. I went out after lunch & paid a visit to the Belmondos. He is not quite so well. I went to the Montalbas & invited Clara to come & dine with me—which she did—& we had a pleasant evening working & talking. | |
