20 November 1898 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 20th [November 1898]. I went to church in afternoon. Augusta better & she got up before dinner & came into my bedroom. I went to the Eden’s garden in the afternoon & the Edens were both there. They gave me a bouquet of the last of the chrysanthemums & some monthly roses. Very fine weather after the 3 days gale of last week. | |
