Thursday. 24th [November 1898]. Painted in morning. Went with Augusta & search everywhere for a silver ink stand that I might present to Mr Carey as a remembrance of Henry & myself. We walked from home to the Piazza—but found nothing at any of the silversmiths we went to. Came home from Piazza in gondola– | |
