9 March 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 9th [March 1899]. My 30th wedding day. Pouring wet day no going out so I worked hard at typing. I went to dine with C & Countess Brandolin—a large family party the young Ct & Css Girolamo Brandolin. Also M. G. Cozzi, Marchese Sonnino & Senor Marcati. After dinner the baby was brought up to be inspected– It is past 2 months old & the young couple are very proud of him. | |
