12 March 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 12th [March 1899]. Called for Iduna & took her to morng service. A very nice service & hearty & a very good sermon. Afterwards I went with Iduna to take a walk in the Piazza & there we met her husband & 2 men friends of his who joined us. I went to afternoon service at 3.30 & then returned home to tea. Css Papadopoli called. | |
