19 March 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 19th March [1899]. Went to morning service & took Iduna Bal: also– Went to Piazza afterwards with her– Lunched at 1. Then went to the Liceo Concert rooms to meet Mrs Eden & hear a Beethoven Concert in wh played Garda (piano) Guarneri violin & Dini cello. It was a very indifferent performance. The weather changed & when I came home at 5 it was blowing & was very cold. Iduna came abt 6 & sat talking. | |
