30 May 1899 — 3 Savile Row | |
Tuesday. 30th [May 1899]. Breakfast in my room at 8. Wrote letters. Walked out at 12; went to Cav. Sqr to see Blanche & then back to luncheon. Drove out at 3. Called on Lady Vivian & saw her then on to “Novarre” Mrs Cole’s bonnet shop where Nellie is assistant. To Marlboro’ House & wrote my name on the Pss of Wales—home to 5 o’cl tea– Visit from Mrs Sydney Glyn. Walked to Stratford Place to call on Lady Ampthill she being out I walked on to Park Crescent to call on my sister Maria. She was walking with Issie in the garden. I joined her there & sat with her a bit & then took a hansom home for dinner time. Nellie dined with me. | |
