1 October 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 1st October [1899]. I went to 10.30 service at our church. No organ playing. We missed Monty Alderson sadly. I took Iduna Bel: with me & after service we went to meet her husband on the Piazza & then home to lunch. Went again to afternoon church at 3.30. A gentleman played the organ. Went to see Mrs Browning & had tea with her—then home. Bentivoglio called. | |
