17 October 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 17th [October 1899]. Being better in health today I went out with May. Sophy remained at home. We went to the Eden’s garden & found Carry there. Mr Eden & his bro: in law Mr Cocks & daughter Tiny & Mrs Reg. Cocks came just as we were leaving. Met Mr & Mrs Curtis there and agreed that they should lunch with me on Thursday & I with them on Friday. Maria Cozzi & Aspasie Kwekwitsch came to tea. | |
