24 November 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 24th [November 1899]. Typed hard all the morning. Went out for a walk after lunch to the Zattere & called at Montalbas & saw Clara a moment & gave messages from Countess Pisani—then to Piazza & from there home in gondola. A long visit from Fanny Browning who came to tea. After dinner practised harmonium. | |
