10 December 1899 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 10th [December 1899]. Still high wind & cold. I took Iduna to morng service in gondola—& we walked home. I went again at 3.30. Then paid a visit to the Misses West & on to tea with the Wiels who live in Campo S. Polo—& walked home. Typed out list of requirements for the Sick & Wounded in the Transvaal & sent them to the Ladies here who are going to join the Ladies Work Guild. Played harmonium in eveng. | |
