13 March 1900 — 3 Savile Row
Tuesday. 13th [March 1900]. Cornelia sent me a gentleman a Revd Boyston to talk about the difficulty between the British Foreign Society & the Venice Sailor’s Institute. I explained the whole affair to him. He seems to fear he could do little to help us. Nellie returned home last night. After lunch she & I took a walk & came home by 4.30. Had a visit from Lady Poynter who wants to go to Venice with me in May. Mr Cazenove came to tea. Connie also came for a few minutes. Dined with Nelly & early to bed.
