24 March 1900 — 3 Savile Row
Saturday. 24th [March 1900]. Had a bad cold & headache & was fit for nothing all day—kept dropping asleep. Eda left me & returned today to Lutterworth. Nela came to tea & Connie & Bee. Connie very tired after her Amateur Art Exhibition. I did not dine but had a little soup brought to me. Went down later to Monty who was downstairs for the 1st time today. He made his nurse come down & feel my pulse & take my temperature. I have no fever. She recommended bed & hot gruel wh I proceeded to do.
