2 May 1900 — 3 Savile Row | |
Wednesday. 2nd [May 1900]. Wrote letters. Went for a short walk with Nellie after luncheon & returned for a Layard Home committee meeting at 4. P.M. Only Mr Cazenove, Drs Bond & Hyslop attended it. They approved what I had done & we cabled Mr Logan acceptance of his offer & thanks. We saw Nurses McLeish & Bond & definitely settled with them. The whole business was rapidly done after wh we had tea. I then walked up to Cav. Sqr to see Blanche for a few minutes & then walked home to dinner alone as Nelly was out. | |
