11 May 1900 — 3 Savile Row
Friday. 11th [May 1900]. Lady Kimball wife of Genl Sir Arnold came to lunch with me especially to see Aimée also Alice Du Cane came for the same reason. Alice & Aimée had never met since Constantinople days & Aimée says she finds her so altered she would not have recognised her. Abt 4 Aimée & I walked to Wimborne House but Cornelia was out so we took a hansom & drove to Onslow Crescent to see Mr & Mrs Kennedy who had been to the Queen’s Drawing Room. I left Aimée there & walked to Mrs Cole’s shop close by to speak about a bonnet she has made me. There I found the 2 Ponsonby girls & Nellie Alderson so they brought me home in their carriage.
