Saturday. 9th [June 1900]. Typed & wrote letters in morning. Mr Cazenove came to say he has sent the money to Dr Wainwright. Nela & Capt. La Terrière came to luncheon. I went for a walk at 4 till 5. After tea I went to Pk Crescent to see Maria—found her just coming out of her house with her maid to go & walk in the Gardens close by so I accompanied her—& returned home soon after 7. In eveng helped Nety with some sewing she had to do for her business. | |
