3 July 1900 — 3 Savile Row
Tuesday. 3rd [July 1900]. Ola Du Cane came to see me in the morning to talk over our loss of dear Countess Pisani. Had also a talk as to the move of her Parents & sisters to the country. She being of opinion that the house offered them rent free at Longham near Canford is too small to take them in. I had a few people to dine with me tonight viz Lord & Lady Bessborough, Sir Arnold & Lady Kemball, Theo & Augusta Guest (Merthyr not well & could not come), Mr H. Seymour Allen, Mr Alfred Burton, Olwen Ponsonby & Reggie Alderson.
