15 July 1900 — Chenies | |
Sunday. 15th July [1900]. I spent the morning lying on a chair in the garden where it was delightfully cool. I tried to read but did little besides sleep. In the afternoon Lady Susan Byng & Mrs Rolt came to tea & Lady Margaret Boscawen, the 2 former living in this neighbourhood & great friends of Adeline & Mrs Trotter. | |
