20 July 1900 — 3 Savile Row | |
Friday. 20th [July 1900]. Still very hot– No going out till 7– Worked sewing machine & helped to make a muslin gown for Nela– I went to dine with Mrs Clay Ker Seymer– Met Mr & Mrs Val Prinsep & 2 men friends of Gerties– We sat in her little garden after dinner. She lives at 198 Cromwell Road where there are still small gardens at the backs of the houses—which are large & roomy but it is a long way from where I live. | |
